Tuesday evening after getting home we found out that our dog Jesse had found a way inside the house and had eaten 2 homemade loaves of bread and a chocolate bunny. WHAT!? I wasn't so concerned about the bread but the chocolate. I quickly searched the internet for what to do if a dog eats chocolate. Chocolate is poison to dogs and can kill them. I found out that smaller dogs are more likely to die and Jesse is a lab so I wasn't too worried about that part. I researched the symptoms and waited to see if Jesse would have any of them. The next day she was a little on the sick side (won't go into details), but is feeling much better today. My dad calls her a junkyard dog, she will eat almost anything.
Anyways, so far we have stuck by our challenge as a family to not watch TV for a whole month. It's been hard to not be able to watch American Idol or Chuck (my family's fav show). It also has its positives. I think the weather has contributed to making it a little easier, I have spent more time outside. I have gotten 3 books done in the past 2 weeks and have had more time to socialize with my family. It's also weird because usally I am up to date on the weather for the week, but this week I had no idea it was supposed to rain today until today. So I am finding this challenge to be helpful and hard.
TakeCare,

Em,
I think that that's really great of your family to do that :) I bet it is hard! Best of luck, and I'll keep you informed about American Idol :)
